  • Step 3: Individuals must then pick a local vaccine centre and select a date. Users with co-morbidity are expected to carry a medical certificate before receiving the vaccine.
  • Step 4: After the registration, the applicants will receive an SMS alert on their registered mobile number notifying the due date, place, and vaccination time.
  • Step 5: District authorities will administer the vaccine session in the CoWIN system. They will authorise the beneficiaries to allocate session and venue with CoWIN’ inbuilt tracking and reporting mechanism.

The Aarogya Setu app is available on both the Google Play Store and the App Store. Hence, both iOS and Android users can download the app on their device.

How to Register on Co-WIN Portal

You can log into the Co-WIN portal using the link www.cowin.gov.in and click on the “Register/Sign In Yourself” tab to register for the Covid-19 vaccination.

Step 2: On the home page, click on Register/Sign In Yourself

Step 3: On the new page, enter your mobile number and click on Get OTP

Step 4: One Time Password on your phone number via an SMS

Step 5:Enter the OTP and click on theVerify button.

Note: Once the OTP is validated, Registration of Vaccination page will open up

Step 6: On the new page enter required details such as:

  • Photo ID proof
  • Photo ID Number
  • Name Gender
  • Year of Birth

Step 7: Once the details are entered for registration, click Register button at the bottom right.
