The Union Cabinet, headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved 3% increase in DA and Inflation Relief (DR) for Central Government employees and pensioners from January 1, 2022. Earlier, in October 2021, it was decided to increase the DA of Central Government employees from 28% to 31%. After this increase, DA will increase to 34 percent.
